They worked in forestry and fishing; built some of the  first old folks’ homes, schools and churches; influenced our social  systems; set up businesses; entered politics; and more.</p><p>We will feature early Norwegians at work and at play … interesting, entertaining, historical … people and places to show life as it was for these early emigrants to B.C.</p><p>The Exhibit is sponsored by Norwegian House Society, the Scandinavian Cultural Society and the Danish Community Centre.
