Social Media Night

Set up or enhance your club’s social media presence! The evening will include a presentation/overview of what can be achieved through social media and how to get started or amplify the channels you already have setup. There will be time to ask questions, mingle, and share information. This will be a great opportunity to cross-reference and co-ordinate with other clubs at the Scandinavian Centre!

Bring your laptop, tablet and/or smart phone so you can get set up right away or get help with something specific. Focus on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, but other platforms are possible too.



Thanksgiving skate!

Thanksgiving SkateWant to work off your turkey dinner? Join us for a free fun & friendly family skate!

Hockey nets will be set up at one end of the rink for stick & puck,
the rest of the rink is available for family skating.

Where: 8 rinks in Burnaby (rink 4)
Cost: Free! (ice time paid for by ScanSports – skate rentals and helmets at your own expense)

There will be Nordic games for the whole family.
This is an event open for all members of the five houses and their associated societies.

Food Trucks will supply food and the beer garden will be open.
Feel free to bring your own picnic and a blanket.
We will hand out food vouchers worth $10/person.
All alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the centre.

The Royal Danish Guards Association and the Danish House Society invite you to join them in celebrating the Birthday of her Majesty Queen Margrethe II.
