runnersScanS­ports presents the Scan­di­na­vian Cen­tre Sun Run team! Once again we have entered a team in the Van­cou­ver Sun Run, and we need team mem­bers! This fun annu­al run takes place in down­town Van­cou­ver on April 23rd at 9 am. It’s one of Canada’s largest 10 km runs, and you can be part of it!

Lau­date Singers, one of Vancouver’s Pre­mier Pro­fes­sion­al Choirs, will per­form choral works from Scan­di­navia fol­lowed by a talk by Kari Turunen. Lars Kaar­io is founder and direc­tor of Lau­date Singers and Direc­tor of Choral Stud­ies in the Diplo­ma of Music Pro­gram at Capi­lano Uni­ver­si­ty where he directs two choirs. Kari Turunen was Choral Con­duc­tor of the Year 2008 in Fin­land and is cur­rent­ly Chair­man of the Finnish Choral Direc­tors’ Asso­ci­a­tion and the artis­tic direc­tor of five choirs in Fin­land.

Kyle Gal­braith is Man­ager of Air Ser­vice Devel­op­ment at Van­cou­ver Air­port Author­i­ty (YVR). He is lead­ing air­line rela­tion­ships work­ing to increase des­ti­na­tions and expand air ser­vices at Van­cou­ver Inter­na­tion­al Air­port.
Kyle has held numer­ous posi­tions in the avi­a­tion indus­try with­in Canada. Over his pro­fes­sion­al career, Kyle has worked for Unit­ed Air­li­nes in Van­cou­ver, as well as the Greater Toron­to Air­ports Author­i­ty. In 2008, Kyle returned to his home province of BC to start work in Air­port Oper­a­tions at YVR. Dur­ing the past 9 years Kyle has held posi­tions in Oper­a­tions, Sched­ul­ing, IATA Slot Coor­di­na­tion, and now Air Ser­vice Devel­op­ment.
Kyle holds an under­grad­u­ate degree in Lan­guages and Inter­na­tion­al Rela­tions from Queens Uni­ver­si­ty in Kingston, Ontar­io.

Guests are always wel­come! Invite col­leagues, clients, friends and fam­i­ly.
