Flammen og Citronen: Film Viewing

“Flam­men” and “Cit­ro­nen” were the code names of two of Denmark’s most renowned resis­tance fight­ers in World War II. Flam­men og Cit­ro­nen (2007) depicts their com­plex char­ac­ters and moral ambi­gu­ity of their exploits.

Mads Bunch (Depart­ment of Cen­tral, East­ern, and North­ern Euro­pean Stud­ies, UBC) iwill be appear­ing at the view­ing to present an intro­duc­tion as well as com­men­tary, pro­vid­ing con­text on the film’s his­toric and artis­tic importance.
