FinlandWel­come, one and all, to The Fin­land House Soci­ety (FHS)! We are a fam­ily ori­ented, char­i­ta­ble soci­ety focused on facil­i­tat­ing, coor­di­nat­ing and pro­mot­ing a wide range of Finnish ath­letic, cul­tural, aca­d­e­mic, fes­tive and sea­sonal events, classes and activities.

FHS is always accept­ing new mem­bers, regard­less of roots, and look for­ward to shar­ing many fun and excit­ing events with you through­out the year!

Temporary Ability to Apply for Finnish Passports at Finnish Consulate in Vancouver

The Embassy of Fin­land in Ottawa has just released a press release to inform Finns in the Lower Main­land that the Min­istry for For­eign Affairs of Fin­land now has an oper­a­tional portable pass­port sys­tem which will soon make it pos­si­ble to apply for a Finnish pass­port at the Finnish Con­sulate in Van­cou­ver for a limited time.
