Reg­u­lar Dancing

Fun, friendly cou­ple danc­ing for all ages! Both cou­ples and sin­gles wel­come. We enjoy the music and folk dances (set dances and cou­ple dances) of Den­mark, Fin­land, Ice­land, Nor­way and Swe­den. Come join our fun and friendly atmos­phere! New mem­bers welcome!

When: Wednes­day evenings Sep­tem­ber — April
Time: 7:30 — 10pm
Where: Scan­di­na­vian Com­mu­nity Cen­tre (except 2nd Wednes­day of the month at Vic­to­ria Drive Hall)
Cost: Mem­ber­ship fee includes all reg­u­lar dance evenings; or drop-in fee $5.

Begin­ner Classes

Come learn the basics — waltz, polka, schot­tis, hambo, pol­ska and oth­ers!
Reg­is­tra­tion required — Cou­ples and sin­gles are welcome.

When: 9 ses­sions — Wednes­days — Next start date: Jan­u­ary 20th, 2010
Time: 7:30 — 8:45pm
Where: Scan­di­na­vian Com­mu­nity Cen­tre (except 2nd Wednes­day of the month at Vic­to­ria Drive Hall)
Cost: $45 per per­son for all 9 ses­sions and includes a DVD of the basic dances and club mem­ber­ship for the term.
