World Cham­pion and for­mer Olympic fig­ure skater Vic­tor Kraatz is hon­our­ing Scan­di­navia House by hold­ing a talk for the pub­lic on Sat­ur­day Feb­ru­ary 27th at 12:00 (noon) about his life as a fig­ure skater, what it is like to be a top ath­lete, what it takes to com­pete on the World stage as well as host­ing a Q & A. Join us for this oppor­tu­nity to hear Victor’s story and meet this fig­ure skat­ing legend.

About Vic­tor Kraatz

Vic­tor Kraatz is a Cana­dian fig­ure skater who, together with his part­ner Shae-Lynn Bourne, became the first North Amer­i­can team to win a World Cham­pi­onship in Ice Danc­ing. He has also won numer­ous Cana­dian cham­pi­onships in his career as well as many other notable com­petions and now spends his time as a com­pet­i­tive ice dance fig­ure skat­ing coach together with his Finnish wife Maikki Uotila-Kraatz (Finnish fig­ure skater and Van­cou­ver 2010 Olympic ath­lete Laura Lep­isto trained with Vic­tor this sum­mer) and is the ice dance com­men­ta­tor for CTV for the Van­cou­ver 2010 Olympic Win­ter Games.
