Scandinavian Business Club Dinner and Speaker: Dr. Patrick Moore, Greenpeace/Greenspirit

Our fall season starts with a dinner on Wednesday September 8 with Patrick Moore, Ph.D. as our dinner speaker. Dr. Patrick Moore, a third generation British Columbian, got his Ph.D. in Ecology at UBC in 1972. He joined Greenpeace as founding member in 1971 and served as director and international director until 1986.

In 1991 Dr. Moore founded Greenspirit, a consultancy focusing on environmental policy and communications in natural resources, biodiversity, energy and climate change.

New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance

Tickets $65 per person, or $75 after December 14.

Includes hats, noisemakers and champagne to toast the New Year. Smorgasbord dinner catered by Kate Praegel. Terrific dance music by DJ Pierre … back from last New Year’s Eve by popular demand.

Table seating is prearranged so be sure to advise us in advance if you wish to be seated together with special friends or family.
