Johan Lud­vig Runeberg  Hym­nist “I Lift My Eyes”

Runeberg’s Reli­gious con­vic­tions are expressed in song. His hymns have an impor­tant place in Finnish wor­ship, and were a con­tri­bu­tion to the nation­al cul­ture.

Hymn texts are anoth­er exam­ple of Runeberg broad lit­er­ary con­tri­bu­tions.
