This is a great way to meet the other volunteers, and to get to know the Centre from top to bottom!

Date: Saturday November 4, 2017
When: 8:30am – 3pm. Breakfast by the Finnish War Veterans at 8:30.  Lunch provided by Norwegian House at 12.30pm.
Where: Scandinavian Community Centre

Bring rakes, leaf blowers, buckets & rags, even vacuums. Indoor & outdoor jobs for all ages Rain or shine We always appreciate as much help as possible.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by the Finnish War Veterans.  Lunch was provided by Norwegian House. Thank you!

Spring Clean-Up – THANK YOU!

Thank you to all who came to our clean up day!
We had about 50 people, who got to meet the other volunteers, and also got to know the Centre from top to bottom!

The wonderful breakfast was made by the Finnish War Veterans.
And the delicious seafood chowder was lunch provided by Danish House. Thank you for both!
We hope to see you again for the fall clean up.

Come out and celebrate our “Home away from Home” with a family picnic.

Date: Sunday, September 11, 2016
Time: 11am to 4pm
Location: Scandinavian Community Centre
Contact: Please RSVP by to your house president.

There will be Nordic games for the whole family.
This is an event open for all members of the five houses and their associated societies.
 To sign up please contact your house president.

Food Trucks will supply food and the beer garden will be open.
Feel free to bring your own picnic and a blanket.
We will hand out food vouchers worth $10/person.
All alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the centre.
